Catering by Donia is a Maryland-based catering service, which opened its doors to the public in February of 1996. Menu planning, artistic presentations, and personalized customer service are just a few of the many benefits many have come to expect from Catering by Donia. While we offer a variety of continental and international favorites, Catering by Donia specializes in authentic Caribbean cuisine, presented with style and elegance. Clients are assured of beautifully prepared signature dishes that appeal to the senses of taste, smell, and sight. Beyond cuisine, however, Catering by Donia’s presentations and ambiance play a significant part in the success of our events.
Wedding Receptions
With Catering by Donia, dreams really do come true! Weddings are our specialty, allowing for opportunities to showcase the most elegant Catering by Donia creations. In addition to delightful cuisine and outstanding presentations, each couple is assigned to an event consultant, who will provide one-on-one detailed services from beginning to end. Your event consultant will assist in the determination of your reception theme, the selection of your customized menu, the selection of your linen, facilitate your menu tasting, and much more. To ensure that plans are flawlessly executed, your event consultant will be present at your reception. Your wedding reception is a priority for Catering by Donia; as such, there will be no “day of coordinator” because your personal consultant, who would have worked with you every step of the way, will be there for your big day.

Catering by Donia has provided services at various Maryland and Washington area ballrooms. These include Oxon Hill Manor, Snow Hill Manor, Florian Hall, Newton White Mansion, Prince George’s Ballroom, Laurel-Beltsville Senior Activity Center, Silver Spring Civic Building, Mirage Hall, Rock Creek Mansion, and The Galleria of Washington, DC to name a few. We are able to transform any space into an elegant banquet area. Whether your event is a formal affair, corporate luncheon, or private house party, we are at your service.
